Luke started his career as a Court Officer in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (as it was then known), before progressing to become Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Williams in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1).
As a Legal Associate, Luke was involved with hearings in both the trial and appellate divisions and gained extensive experience across a wide array of family law matters including parenting, property, Hague Convention cases, and complex financial disputes.
Immediately prior to joining Taussig Cherrie Fildes, Luke was employed at a renowned U.S. based law firm in London, UK. Luke primarily worked in the field of International Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration, assisting clients in high-profile, cross-border disputes, particularly those involving shareholder conflicts and fraud.
Luke joined Taussig Cherrie Fildes in September 2025 after being admitted to practice in 2022.
