Lucy’s legal career began as a Legal Case Manager at the Federal Circuit and Family Court in late 2022, before progressing to the role of Associate to Her Honour Judge Bender. Throughout her time at the Court, she gained insight into a wide range of family law matters, as well as a thorough understanding of Court processes and case management pathways.
Lucy has practiced exclusively in family law since her admission to practice in April 2024, before commencing at Taussig Cherrie Fildes in October 2025.
Since commencing practice, Lucy has gained experience in complex high net worth property matters, as well as high-conflict parenting disputes involving complex risk issues. Whilst Lucy is experienced in litigation, she also regularly assists clients in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, in an effort to empower her clients to achieve cost-effective and sustainable solutions. Lucy aims to work closely with clients to assist them to achieve practical outcomes, always with compassion for the challenges that are faced at the breakdown of a relationship.
